The Credit Detail and Credit Summary Reports provide a list of overpayment and prepayments over a given period.
How to generate a Credit Report
Either:
Click
Press Ctrl + P
Select Reports > Print
The Print Report window appears.
Select Credit Detail (or Summary) Report from the list of reports and click Next The Print Credit Report window appears.
Enter the date range you wish the report to cover.
From the Print What drop-down box, choose Patients, Companies, or Patients and Companies.
From the Types drop-down box, choose from Prepayments, Overpayments, or Prepayments and Overpayments.
Select the check the box next to each Practitioner for whom you would like to run this report.
A separate report will be printed for each selected Practitioner. If you would like to print just one report that encompasses all Practitioners, then select the check box titled Practice-wide report, which appears next to the date fields.
Select the classes of patient you would like to include in the report, by checking the appropriate boxes.
If you only want one or two classes, click Clear All and then select the classes you want.
Click Next Ensure that the correct printer, tray and number of copies are selected, and click Next again to print the report.
How to Interpret this Report
The Search Criteria at the top of the first page is the selections you made while printing the report.
The Name column contains the list of patients whose accounts contain credit allocations. The Total column provides the total of figures for each line.
The Future column will only display credit amounts if credit allocations were made more recently than the date range you entered when creating the report.
The Current column will display credit allocations entered < 30 days prior to the end of the specified date range.
The 30 Days column displays credit allocations entered 30 – 59 days before the end of the specified date range.
The 60 Days reports credit allocations 60 – 89 days old.
The 90 Days reports credit allocations 90 – 119 days old.
The 120 Days reports credit allocations 120 – 179 days old.
The 180 Days reports credit allocations 180 – 359 days old.
The 360 Days includes credit allocations 360+ days old.
