The information below includes references to TYRO device menus. If these menu references differ to what you see on your TYRO device, please consult your TYRO device's associated user guide for information. Bluechip supports multiple EFTPOS Terminals. In order to use the Tyro EFTPOS device, you will be required to reconnect and configure your device for each workstation. You will need your Default Merchant ID and Default Terminal ID, as provided by Tyro. Please consult the EFTPOS device manual for installing the hardware device on your system.

Setup > Setup > Practice > EFTPOS Auto
Select Setup > Practice > EFTPOS AUTO/Medicare Easyclaim. The EFTPOS AUTO/Medicare Easyclaim Setup window appears.
Tick the Activate EFTPOS/Medicare Integration check box.
Click The Tyro Terminal Adapter Control Panel appears.
Enter your Default Merchant ID as provided by Tyro.
Enter your Default Terminal ID as provided by Tyro.
Indicate whether you wish to Print EFTPOS receipts from the Tyro Terminal itself, or locally (from your computer).
Printing locally is only available to EFTPOS transactions, as Medicare Easyclaim can only be printed from the Tyro terminal.
Indicate whether these settings apply to all users on this computer, or leave the box un-ticked to save these settings for the current user only.
On the EFTPOS terminal, go into the Configuration menu > enter your PIN > select Integrated EFTPOS > select Pair with POS.
In Bluechip, click
On the terminal, press Start. You will be notified on the terminal when pair is successful.
You can conduct a verification of your key, by clicking
Click to close the Tyro Terminal Adapter Control Panel.
Click OK to close the EFTPOS AUTO/Mecicare Easyclaim window.
