Configuring the Device
These instructions must be completed for each Clinical computer you wish to use the Edan ECG with. It is assumed you have already installed the Edan ECG software.
On your C: Drive, create a new folder called GDT
Open the SE-1515 PC ECG software.
Access Settings.
Select the File Output Setting tab, and configure the following settings:
File Name:
First Field: PatientId
Second Field: Name
Output Format: PDF
Auto Export after sampling finishes (selected)
Output when making diagnosis (selected)
Output Path: C:\GDT
Select the GDT Setting tab, and configure the following settings:
GDT Path: C:\GDT
Input File Name: EDP_EKG
Output File Name: EKG_EDP
ECG ID: EKG
EDP ID: EDP
Suffix Select (.GDT)
Auto Export after sampling finishes (selected)
Output when making diagnosis (selected)
Close the EDAN software. EDAN is now configured to integrate with Clinical.
Performing a Test in Clinical
Open the patient's record.
From within the Clinical
Window, select Tools
> Tool Box > Electrocardiogram. The ECG tab appears.
Click to enter the appropriate patient values for this test. The Available ECG Machines window is displayed if more than one device is installed. Select the device you wish to use from this window.
Select either Resting or STAT ECG.
Select OK on the New Patient Window.
Select Start to start the ECG recording.
Add additional notes either Feature Description or Diagnosis and select Ok Note the user will be prompted that The previous file exists. OK to over write.
Close the ECG Sampling window via the
Close the SE-1515 PC ECG software via the to return to MedicalDirector and import the ECG file.
