The status of a patient's appointment can be highlighted in the Appointment Book. For example, a patient currently in consultation can be displayed in red text, or another in the Waiting Room can be displayed in blue, as shown in the following image.
To indicate the status of a patient's appointment, locate and right-click the appointment in the Appointment Book, and select from the options in the menu that appears, as described in the following table. Note that you can also select the appointment and type a shortcut key combination.

The patient did not arrive. |

The patient is in consultation. This status is most frequently assigned by the Practitioner. If they also have Clinical on their computer, assigning the 'In Consultation' status automatically opens the associated patient in Clinical. |
Gone (CTRL+G) |
Grey |
The patient's consultation has ended and their status is changed to 'Gone'. |
