Patient Lists

In relation to MedicalDirector Mobility, Patient Lists are pre-defined lists patient records that can be downloaded to a mobile computer. By creating a Patient List you can simply select this list for download, rather than having to search for each patient individually.

Patient Lists can be named and described to help you locate them later. When creating a Patient List, you can select patients individually, or search for specific patients using complex criteria.

 

Locate and double-click the MedicalDirector Maintenance icon on your desktop. The MedicalDirector Maintenance window appears.

Select the Database Tasks > Clinical menu item.

 

Double-click

(Optional) If this is the first time you have tried to run MedicalDirector Mobility during this session of working in MedicalDirector Maintenance, you will be prompted to select a Configuration, and enter your Username and Password.

 

The MedicalDirector Mobility utility appears.

 

Click  The Patient Lists window appears.


This window displays any list you have already created.

 

Either:

Click to add a new patient list, or

Select an existing list and click to edit it.

 

The List Properties window appears.

 

Name the list. Enter a description for the Patient List if desired.

Search for patients to add to the Patient List by either typing the patient's name into the Search for Patient text box. The list of matching names will grow dynamically with your text. You can also choose to include patients previously flagged as inactive. If necessary, click to specify criteria.

Add patients to the Patient List by selecting individual patients from the list and click or dragging-and-dropping the patient into the Download List, or double-clicking the patient's name.

Click to open the Patient Search window and perform an advanced search.

Once you have selected all the patients to be added to the Patient List, click OK
