This option flags patients to be excluded from cervical screening searches (Recall Lists) where the criteria 'Last Cervical Screening' or 'No Previous Cervical Screening' is used. It may be used if the patient is very elderly, has had a hysterectomy or is under treatment elsewhere. For example, gets an abnormal result followed up by a Gynaecologist. This avoids the patient receiving inappropriate cervical screening reminders.

From the Clinical Front Screen, select Clinical > Cervical Screen Results > Mark Patient. The Select Patient from List window appears.

Search for the patient record you want to exclude from cervical screening searches. Only  female or gender-neutral patients will appear in the list. You will be prompted to confirm the patient selection you have made.



To mark this patient for exclusion from the lists, click Yes  If she has previously been marked for exclusion, clicking No will cause her to once again appear on the routine lists.
